This house has 85,000 lights synchronized to music.  It’s a must see!  When I was there taking video a family drove up and the kids were out on the sidewalk out in front of the house.  One of the little boys was just dancing to the music.  He turned to me and said “this is the coolest house ever” did some more dancing and said, “this is just amazing”.  From the mouths of children.

They do have music playing from the yard and/or you can tune your car radio to 101.3 FM and listen while you watch the show from your car.  Below is just a sampling of what you will see.  Drive by and enjoy it live for yourself!

Hi, I’m Jill Olsen and I’m starting this website in December 2011. Christmas Lights have always been one of the highlights for me during the holiday season and I love to find light displays that are creative, fun, and over the top.  I decided to share my adventures and findings with all of you so that you can enjoy all the work and effort that goes into creating them. I’m going to cover the Vegas Valley from North Las Vegas, to Summerlin, Henderson and Boulder City.

I’m going to focus on residential home displays that have more than 10,000 lights but I’ll also let you know about the commercial displays happening around the valley too.

A little about me:

If you are headed out to Hoover Dam, you will go through Boulder City a wonderful and charming town. It’s a great place to go to escape Las Vegas. Take a stroll down main street and check out the fun shops, they have lots of antique stores if that is your thing.

Last year I cam across the display at 1509 San Felipe Drive and loved their massive display. I went back this year on the second Saturday of December and while the yard is well decorated they were still putting up displays. This one you can drive around but it’s best to park the car and get out and walk to get a better view (mainly because there is just so much to see).

Most displays are stationary, but the variety and amount are what makes it so unique.
